Administrator Scott Doolin is retiring at Blue Springs South

Why did you get into being an administrator? 

I wanted to be able to interact with students and teachers  

Where did you go to school HS & College? 

Blue Springs High School, University of Missouri-Kansas City. Mr. Plummer and I graduated in the same class and ran track together in High School. 

Plans for after retirement? 

Medicare Supplement 

Hobbies and Interests?  

Fishing, working out. 

Family? 

Wife (Mrs. Doolin, retired teacher), Thad (veterinary school), Cooper (medical school), Ivy (still deciding). 

Why did you retire this year? 

Ready for a new life adventure 

Have you teached/worked at any other school? 

Moreland Ridge Middle School, Brittany Hill Middle School, Paul Kinder Middle School, FC, been at south for 7 years. 

What will you miss the most? 

 Helping students and my friends. 

Favorite memory? 

 Playing golf when I got the call that I was hired for my first job.
