With the start of October comes the start of a new iPhone era. On September 9, Apple announced the release of the IPhone 6s and 6s plus. The prices for the 6s if you have a contract with a phone company, are $199 for 16GB, $299 for 64GB, and $399 for 128GB. If you were to buy the 6s without a contract the prices would escalate to $649 for 16GB, $749 for 64GB, and $849 for 128GB. The difference between the IPhone 6s and 6s plus is that the plus is .78 inches bigger than the 6s and the plus has better resolution than the 6s.

Along with announcing the new IPhones, Apple also announced the release of the new Apple Watches. The watches price start at $349 and increases depending on what type of band and watch you buy. The three types of watches are the basic Apple Watch, the Sport Apple Watch and the apple watch edition. There are three types of cases for the apple watch; there is the aluminum casing, the stainless steel casing and the gold casing. All three casings are reported to be stronger and more durable than standard alloys. The new watches all come with sport bands, but consumers can choose the color of the band. The watches alert you by vibrating when you get a notification. You can even talk to Siri to start workouts, get directions, or even check your schedule.

One of the other devices that Apple announced that also uses Siri is the updated Apple TV. They will be releasing this month and will be priced at $149. The TVs will come with the new Siri remotes, which has Siri built in and makes it easier for users to navigate the TV’s apps and games. Instead of using iOS for the TVs, Apple made tvOS, which is an operating system based on iOS made just for the new Apple TVs. Third party developers can now load their apps onto the Apple TVs for consumers to install. Also new to the Apple TVs are the universal apps, which are single purchase apps that can be loaded onto any Apple device that is under your account. Apple music also comes loaded onto the new TVs free of charge.

The new ipad Pro is a combination of the ipad Air series and the Ipad mini-series. The new ipads, which have a 12.9-inch display, are three inches bigger than the last \ipads. The standard price for the ipads will be $799 and a 128GB model will be priced at $949 and will be released in November. With the new Ipad comes a new keyboard. The new, “Smart Keyboard”, gives consumers a way to quickly type more easily. The new Apple Pencil will be used for drawing and writing on the new Ipads. The prices for the keyboard and pencil are $169 and $99, respectively.
